The location was great! Easy to get to anywhere in town and great jumping off point to other destinations. Breakfast was fantastic. They offer happy hour but I did not take advantage of it. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. Wish I had booked dinner at the restaurant.

If you are in need of respite, I can't say enough good things about this place! After a several month stretch of extreme work and familial stress, this was my last stop on a trip to Acadia/down the Maine coast, and the hospitality was unparalleled. The concierge personally walked over to show me the way to the "Hideaway" property, and the combined bar/check-in desk was so creative. You have access to a kitchen with refrigerator, stocked coffee pod machine, and a wonderful lounge area. My room (really a suite, which was bigger than I expected) had a sitting room, the fluffiest pillows my head has ever met, and tasteful soothing decor. Later that night, enjoyed a delicious cocktail and dessert in front of the fireplace of the cozy lounge - I had already eaten dinner elsewhere but the chef seems to be quite skilled. The breakfast buffet was scrumptious - freshly squeezed juice and pastries, packaged yogurts available for grab-and-go, outstanding sausages and eggs, all in such a calming environment.

The best part of our stay was the food in the main restuarant, excellent. The dinner in the main building was the best we had in our 7 day stay in Maine. For dinner we had the duck which is hit or miss in most restuarants but here it was the best duck meal ever. The desserts were also excellent. I had pastacio ice cream, with fig.O erall the staff was very friendly especially the receptionist.

The inn is lovely - a mix of old charm and modern comfort. The amenities are great, and there is everything you need for a very pleasant stay. The team were beyond nice, making sure we had a great stay (which we appreciated that much more given wed just come from a few days of camping and were feeling pretty rough after an Airbnb wed booked had given us an unpleasant surprise). I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!!

Hideaway is separate from main building and very densely populated on second floor. Will all B&Bs you get trades and this one had a large downstairs area with coffee maker. Downside was rooms had poor acoustic separation which in my case resulted in hearing snoring much of the night and voices in the shower. Bed was giant and comfortable and windows opened wide to quiet backyard.

We had a great stay! I booked last-minute and expected to be shoved into their smallest room, but I was pleasantly surprised when we were assigned a suite with a separate living room, two TVs, an extremely comfortable king-size bed, a jacuzzi, and a gas fireplace.

There was a minor mistake with my booking but without question the situation was resolved beyond my expectations at no additional cost to me. The staff was friendly and the room was beyond comfortable and spacious. It was everything I needed for my personal self care retreat!
